Autumn Bookmark

*If you're looking for my MFT Hop post, scroll down!*

Happy Thursday, everyone! The temps here are getting much cooler, and a fall chill is definitely in the air. This weather just makes me want to get cozy with a cup of coffee and a good book! I made this autumn bookmark using new CLING stamps from JustRite Stampers! That's right -- JustRite has cling stamps now, and you can find them HERE at Stamper's Dream! The set I used here is called A Day in the Country.

I stamped the sentiment, then I cut and matted it with Long Rectangle Nestabilities. I sponged the image panel with Antique Linen Distress Ink while it was still in the die. I "tea dyed" the gingham ribbon with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I slid the ribbon through the jumbo eyelet, then I tied it with some Natural Burlap String.

When stamping the leaf image, I inked it in More Mustard and rock-n-rolled it in Really Rust.  I distressed the edges of the cardstock and did some random machine stitching.

Here is the bookmark in a book! Now I'm ready for some autumn reading! :)

Thanks so much for visiting today! I'm so glad you stopped by!

Have a great day!
Christina

Nobody loves a good book more than me! And I would be happy to have such a beautiful bookmark to "mark my spot". Love it, Christina!
