Pure Innocence Sunday!
Hello! Happy Sunday! Today's Teasers are of the new Pure Innocence sets! SO cute, each and every one! My card features Butterfly Kisses.
I used Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious paper, Copics, and some bling on the front of the card. The image is on a Die-namics Textile Rectangle. I paper pieced her little onesie. :)
I continued the bling on the inside of the card, and I used two Die-namics Butterflies.
Click over to Kim's Blog NOW to see which designers have Pure Innocence to share with you today! I'm sure the projects are oozing with cuteness! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

February MFTeasers, Day 2
Happy Saturday! It's Day Two of MFTeasers! Today the Creative Team is previewing three more sets: Jolinne - Catch a Star, Flopsey - Smooth Sailing, and Twisted Foursome.
Twisted Foursome is the fourth installment in the Twisted series -- the sassy sayings are perfect for putting a twist on your favorite MFT sets! ;) This sentiment in particular cracks me up -- I feel like that every day! I immediately thought of pairing it with this image from Time for the Bubbly. *giggle*
I used Spearmint and Hot Fudge cardstock, and the paper is Basic Grey's Curio. The image was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto a Perfect Paper Panel. I paper pieced the tub and rug, and I colored with Copics. I embellished with the Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip, seam binding ribbon, button, and Divine Twine. I applied some Diamond Stickles to the bubbles.
Here's the Release 411:
- The MFT release is on February 1st at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available on February 1st at 10 PM EST.

February MFTeasers!
Happy Thursday, everyone! It's Day One of MFTeasers for the February release! YAY! This month's sets and Die-namics are must-haves! Today the Creative Team is previewing three sets: Clearly Sentimental about Time, Fred Bear Out West, and Die-namics Companion - The Great Outdoors.
My card features Clearly Sentimental about Time. It was January's Triple Scoop set but will now be available on its own. I truly {love} the Clearly Sentimental line. The sentiments are perfect for so many of life's moments!
I used several goodies I purchased on a little shopping trip last weekend: My Mind's Eye Lost & Found paper, Prima Sugar Plum Roses, and seam binding ribbon. The pin and pearls are from the SU! Pretties Kit, and the number paper is from October Afternoon.
Do you see what's perched on the end of the sentiment flag? It's a NEW Die-namics Butterfly! *squeal*
Here are the details about the upcoming release on February 1st at 10 PM EST:

Happy Birthday, Wendy Bond!
Hi there! Happy Thursday! Today I'm participating in a hop to celebrate the birthday of the fabulous Wendy Bond! Wendy is super-sweet and mega-talented! I'm honored to be one of the stamping friends who are wishing her a Happy Birthday today! If you haven't seen all the birthday wishes so far, you can start at the beginning with Karen Motz! :)
I started with this sentiment from JustRite's Birthday Cardmaking Kit. It's SO true, isn't it? ;) The paper is from the Fly a Kite 8x8 pad by October Afternoon. I inked all the edges with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Inks, then I lightly distressed them with my fingernail. I used Classic Circle and Blossom Nestabilities for the sentiment and matting, and I placed a Prima pearl swirl behind them. The sheer ribbon is topped with Ivory Burlap String and another pearl.
The next well-wisher on the hop is Nancy McKinney! Hurry over to see what she has created for Wendy!
Happy Birthday, Wendy! You're not older, just better! May your year be filled with blessings! :)
Thanks, everyone, for stopping by! Have a great day!

Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch #4
Hello! Happy Wednesday! Today's Wednesday Stamp Club sketch is a simple one -- we hope you all will play along! You can find all the details HERE on the MFT Member Company Forum. Here's the sketch and my card:
I used the Pure Innocence set, Something Special Just for You. This Echo Park Little Girl paper is just perfect, don't you think? I colored with Copics, then I cut out and popped up the image. The embossed circle is backed with the Die-namics Dainty Doily Die.
I placed some adhesive rhinestones on the crown for a little sparkle.

Heart Chair
Good Tuesday morning, everyone! Today's project could be a Valentine card or just a card for someone special in your life. I used the Heart Chair cling stamp by Impression Obsession, and I paired it with some Bo Bunny Crush paper. The sentiment is from the Birthday Cardmaking Kit by JustRite Stampers. I'm always happy when the sets have versatility -- this isn't a birthday card, but the sentiment works here!
I gave the image a bit of color with some colored pencils, and I sponged around the image and sentiment with Pretty in Pink ink. The image is matted with a Spellbinders Big Scalloped Oval. I placed a rhinestone swirl behind the image oval. To make the heart charm, I colored a Maya Road Chipboard Heart with a Copic marker, then I gave it a coat of Christmas Red Stickles. It's tied on to the card with Black Checkered Ribbon and Silver Metallic String.
That's all for today! I'm headed out to volunteer at school this morning, then I have lots of things to catch up on at home. Then, hopefully, I'll sneak in some stamping time! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Stamping Around!
Hi there! Long time, no blogging, huh? Sorry about that! Since Wednesday we've had two snow days, a little one sick with a fever, and a busy weekend. Sometimes the stamping unfortunately has to take a back seat. I'll have plenty for you to look at during the rest of the week, but today I have a fun announcement for you!
I'll be one of the instructors at Stamping Around Ohio! It will be held at Toyrifix in Smithville, Ohio on June 17-18. If you're able to come, I'd love to see you there! You can find out about the event and the other instructors HERE at the Stamping Around web site. I'm so excited! I'll have more info to share in the coming weeks and months, but I wanted to be sure you all knew about it! :)
That's it for today! I'll have a stampy project to share with you tomorrow! Thanks so much for stopping by!

That's Just Crappie!

Both new à la modes sets will be available TONIGHT, along with the February VIP Package! You'll want to stop by Kim's Blog at 10:00 pm tonight for the VIP Blog Hop!

It's such a fun sketch, though -- I just had to play! The papers are from The Great Outdoors collection by Three Bugs in a Rug. I colored with Copics.
Did you know that MFT has new My Favorite Felt and Ribbon Collections? The black stitched ribbon is from the Black Ribbon Collection. Love it! :)
Okay, how head on over to Kim's Blog to see which designers have previews today! I'll see you back here tonight for the VIP Hop!

Happy Monday! Are you ready for some new à la modes? I tell you, they just get cuter each month! Today's previews are of Oh Baby!. It's SO sweet -- couldn't you just squeeze that big ol' bear? :)
My tag is pretty boy-ish, I'll admit, but it could probably be gender-neutral, too. The paper is from the Fine & Dandy True Blue 6x6 pad. I embellished with a little bling, some Stacking Stars Die-namics, ribbon, button, and Divine Twine.
Stop by Kim's Blog to see the list of designers who have previews today. I'll be back with another à la modes preview tomorrow!

Hugs
Happy Saturday, everyone! I have a sweet and simple Valentine to share with you today. You might remember the project I did in THIS post, when I colored just a focal point and left the rest untouched. I've been wanting to do that again, so I thought it would be perfct on this white and red themed card! Here I used the Pure Innocence Love You with All My Heart set.
Not much to explain here -- a Cuttlebug Hearts background, plus ribbon, button and Divine Twine. That's it! I used Copics to color the heart, and I popped the image up with some of Jody's dimensional boosters.
If you are in a Valentine-y mood, you'll love this month's Dirty Dozen Gallery! If you're a SCS Fan Club Member, you can find it and all the other DD Galleries HERE. Run, don't walk -- and say hello to the two newest Dirty Girls while you're there! :)
Thanks so much for visiting today! I'm so glad you stopped by!

JustRite Week, Part 2
Happy Thursday, everyone! It's the last day of projects for JustRite Week with the Dream Team. I hope you've had a chance to check out all the projects so far. Here's the schedule, just in case you missed anything!
Monday - Michelle, Cindy, Amy, Mariana
Tuesday - Michelle, Cindy, Kim, Tosh, Teresa
Wednesday - Michelle, Teresa, Tosh, Lea, Christina, Amy
Thursday - Michelle, Christina, Amy, Lea, Kim, Tosh
My project today is another Valentine. Lately I'm having a serious love affair with felt hearts and bling, as well as an obsession with all things black and red! :)
The tag was created using two JustRite sets: Fancy Tags and Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit. I love that there are so many options for combinations and layering with these sets! The paper is from the Crush 6x6 pad by Bo Bunny. I placed a rhinestone flourish behind the tag, and I used the MFT Die-namics Hearts a Plenty die to cut the felt heart. I topped the black satin ribbon with Red Burlap String and an adhesive rhinestone.
Don't forget to check out the other girls' projects -- I'm sure they are gorgeous! :)
Thanks for taking the time to visit today -- I really do appreciate it!
Have a great day!

JustRite Week!
Hello! Happy Wednesday! This week, the Dream Team is hosting JustRite Week. We'll be sharing projects featuring some of the newest releases from JustRite Stampers!
Here is my card for today. It's a Valentine for my daughter's first-grade teacher. I used the You're So Sweet 2" set. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The individual layers were cut and embossed with Circle Nestabilities, and the center was popped up for dimension. The scalloped circle is backed with some primary pattern paper I cut with one of the Labels Fifteen Nestabilities. The paper, combined with the Cuttlebug Numbers embossing folder, just seemed perfect for a teacher, don't you think? The big ol' bow is topped with some black checkered ribbon and a felt heart.
Here's the schedule for the entire week -- you don't want to miss any of the fabulous projects! :)

Design Team Creative Challenge: Valentines!
Hello, friends! Happy Tuesday to you! Sorry for my absence these last few days. We spent the weekend putting away our Christmas decorations, which took up much more time than I'd planned! Also, Kyle and Megan both went to the Silver Bells dance Saturday, so there were some emergency wardrobe issues to attend to! :) Anyway, I've been busy stamping and have some projects to share with you over the next few days!
In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge will be a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme or product. This month, we asked the team to get creative for Valentine's Day. It's a great occasion to get crafty, and put your supplies to good use. Are you ready to get some ideas for your Valentine's Day gifts? Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of participants to see everything from cards to gift ideas and everything between.
Here's my project -- a Valentine card that doubles as a gift card holder!
I used papers from the State of the Heart collection by My Mind's Eye. On the front I inked up the image and a sentiment from the adorable PI set, A Cart Full of Friends. I replaced the friends with a felt heart. :) I paper pieced her dress, arm and sleeve, and I colored the rest of the image with Copics. I also popped the wagon up on some of Jody's Dimensional Boosters, which you can find here.
Inside I used the image and sentiment from the PI set, Love You With All My Heart. When it comes to Valentines and sweetness, you just can't overdo the Pure Innocence, right? ;)
The papers along the side are sewn on just three sides, so it becomes a pocket for a gift card.
I hope you're inspired to start on your own Valentine projects! Don't forget to visit Kim's Blog for more inspiration from the MFT DT! :)
Thanks so much for visiting today! Have a great day!

Good Times with Good Friends
Happy Thursday, everyone! I hope you are having a good week so far! My project today is a gift for a friend. I'll be seeing her in a couple weeks, and I have a little hostess gifty for her. We papercrafters pride ourselves on presentation, you know, so I wanted to give it the proper wrapping. :)
I placed the gift inside a small paper sack and folded the top over. I created a band with black grosgrain ribbon, and over it I placed red checker ribbon and a red button tied with black burlap string. The sentiment is from the Friendship Nested Sentiments by JustRite Stampers. I cut and matted the sentiment panel with the Nested Sentiment Custom Dies from JustRite Stampers by Spellbinders. I am {loving} these new Spellbinders dies, custom made to go with the JustRite stamps! I sponged the edges of the sentiment with Antique Linen Distress Ink. It gives a little extra dimension and makes the embossing pop.
I cut a piece of 1/2" Scor-Tape and adhered the sentiment panel directly to the ribbon. I used the MFT Die-namics Hearts a Plenty die to make the cork heart, and I glued it to the back of the panel so it isn't directly on the bag. All the elements are anchored to the black ribbon band, so it all slides off in one piece!
See how easy it is to dress up a plain white sack? :)
That's all for today! Thanks, as always, for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Wednesday Stamp Club is Getting Sketchy!
Hi there! Happy Wednesday! I hope you enjoyed the MFT Teasers and the Release Hop! Thanks so much for all of your kind comments this week! :)
MFT is super excited to announce that Wednesday Stamp Club will now be centered around a weekly sketch. We know your stamping time is precious, and we want you to maintain as much creative freedom as possible. Sketches are the perfect starting point to a card. Use it as a blueprint, and create a card using the stamp set and supplies that strike your fancy. You can turn to the sketches time and again for creative inspiration.
A new sketch will be posted each Wednesday at midnight on the MFT Blog. You'll also find the sketch in the MFT Forum on SCS on Wednesday morning, as well as in the weekly newsletter. Our talented Challenge and Design Teams will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started!
We encourage you all to play along and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011!
Now, here's this week's sketch and my card!
I used the just-released Pure Innocence: Peek-a-Boo and Some Fine and Dandy: True Blue 6x6 papers (My Mind's Eye) to create my card. I colored and paper pieced the image, and I applied some tiny Crystal Clear Adornments to her dress and flower.
To mimic the patterned paper on the front, I used the Die-namics Cloud Trio and Sunshine dies on the inside.
Upload your creations to SCS using keyword MFTWSC1. We hope you will play along with us this week and every Wednesday!
That's all for today! Thanks for visiting -- I appreciate it so much!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Get Physical with MFT!
Hello! It's time for the MFT January Release Hop and Shop! If you've just happened upon my post, be sure to go back to Kim's Blog and start from the beginning! This release is full of goodness, and you won't want to miss a thing! :)
I am SO excited about the set I'm sharing with you tonight. It's this month's Who's That Girl? set, Let's Get Physical. Just in time for all those New Year's Resolutions, right? As soon as I saw this sentiment from the set, I thought of this photo of my daughter Megan. It was taken during her freshman year when she was running track. I set to work creating a frame for the photo!
I started with an unfinished Michaels frame, and I covered it with papers from the October Afternoon Seaside 8x8 pad. Megan's school colors are blue and gold, so I pulled patterns in those colors.
I colored the image with Copics. You might have spied the NEW Die-namics Dainty Doily behind the image -- I {love} it! I also added a rhinestone flourish for a fun touch -- I thought it was perfect for this sentiment! :)
I added her school initials using the Die-namics Banner Day Die and Alphabet, and I applied MFT Crystal Adornments between the letters.
All of the Brand Spankin' New stamps and dies can be found right HERE, right now! Next, I'll send you to visit one of our fabulous new Design Team members, Arlene Cuevas! She is sure to WOW you with her project! :)
Happy shopping, everyone! Thanks so much for hopping by!

January MFTeasers - Day 4
Happy Monday, everyone! It's Day 4 of MFTeasers, and the DT is previewing two more sets today: Inspired by Music and Frosty Fun. I used a few patterns of Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly paper to create my frosty card. The rhinestone flourish worked perfectly behind this sweet skater. I embellished with a Die-namics felt snowflake and some fun twine (a gift from my friend Jessie).
I finished the inside rather simply with the stamped image and sentiment and another snowflake.
Stop by Kim's Blog for a list of designers who have Teasers for you today! Leave a comment on each designer's post for a chance to win Teaser Prizes! Kim is giving away two sets each day during Teasers, and she's posting the winners on her blog daily.

My kids are back to school today, so I'm going to enjoy the peace and quiet for a while! Hopefully I'll get a little stamping done, too! Thanks so much for visiting -- I SO appreciate you taking the time to stop by!

January MFTeasers - Day 3
Happy Sunday, everyone! Today's MFTeasers are of the new Pure Innocence sets! You all are in for a treat, because this month's images are fabulous! My first sample is of Carnation, which features January's flower of the month. Knowing that there will be more PI monthly flowers in the future (hint, hint), I made a calendar which can be changed each month. The 6x6 calendar page covers the photo opening in the frame and hangs from two small nails.
I started with an unfinished Michaels frame, and I gave it a coat of Tattered Rose Distress Crackle Paint. I took a page from the Restoration 6x6 pad and matted it with Blue Bayou cardstock to create the background for the calendar and image. The calendar is from the 2011 Calendar Templates. I used the new Die-namics Layered Label die to create the frames for the sentiments.
.
I colored and cut out the image, and I popped it up with some of Jody's Dimensional Boosters.
Look at these roses -- they were made with the NEW Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses die and some My Favorite Felt. Aren't they SO sweet?
My second sample features Ladybug. I paired her with some papers from the October Afternoon Modern Homemaker 8x8 pad.
I colored with Copics and applied some Stickles to the wings. I placed a Prima black swirl behind the image panel, and I used two Die-namics: Perfect Bracket Edge and Flower Border.
I finished the inside of the card, placing the sentiment there as well.
Head over to Kim's Blog to see which designers have Teasers for you today! Leave a comment on each designer's post for a chance to win some Teaser Prizes! Also, be sure to stop by the MFT Member Company Forum for details about the Guest Designer Challenge and Tuesday's Release Party!
I'll have another Teaser tomorrow, so I hope you'll stop back! Thanks so much for visiting today!
Have a great day!
