Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so that was the inspiration for today's card. The layout is from today's Sketch Challenge. The images are from Fall Silhouettes, part of the Kim Hughes Collection at Cornish Heritage Farms. The paper is from SU!'s Fall Flowers and also from the Home Again Simply Scrappin' Kit. There's not much to explain here, so I'll just list the supplies for you.
It is so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is 8 days away, and then we'll be preparing for Christmas! I feel like I'm in some sort of time warp or something, because our fall was really delayed this year after our unbearably hot summer. We finally got much needed rain and milder temperatures over the last few weeks. The colors on the trees are so gorgeous right now, which is about a month behind what they usually are, and temperatures this week have been in the upper 60's! I have my window open as I type this, and the air feels and smells wonderful. I went outside earlier and snapped a few photos of the foliage on my street. It seems that my neighbors have all the good colors, though -- our big pear tree has barely begun to change!
I hope you are finding some lingering beauty in this fall season. Have a great day -- the weekend's on its way! :)
