Pretty Birds

Hello, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter! We had a busy but fun weekend. Saturday night Chris and I saw Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band -- SO awesome!! By the time we got home and got the Easter baskets together, it was reeeeeally late! I'm still not caught up on my sleep! I'm getting old -- didn't I used to run on empty during my college days...? Speaking of college, my Xavier Musketeers are in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament!! Go Muskies! :)

Okay, enough rambling -- on to my card! This one kinda reminds me of those spring robins I see everywhere outside now. I used Pretty Birds from The Kim Hughes Collection by Cornish Heritage Farms. The background is Pretty Petals stamped in River Rock ink on River Rock cardstock. The paper is from K&Co. I stamped the birds, cut them out, and adhered them to the top panel. I added distressing and machine stitching to both patterned paper panels. I embellished with a Jumbo Blossom, a button from my stash, and dotted organdy ribbon. Pretty simple, but I'm happy with it! :)
