MFT's Greatest Hits: Jolinne

Happy Thursday! Today the My Favorite Things DT is back with MFT's Greatest Hits! We're inking up some of our favorite previously-released sets -- and this month it's all about Jolinne! I chose Birthday Balloon Jolinne to share with you today, but I gave her a little twist! Since this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club has a "Back to School Blues" theme, I gave her a little school spirit!

I was thrilled that these Bo Bunny Learning Curve papers had some blue in them! I used two new Die-namics: Notebook Edge Die and Perfect Bracket Edge. I stamped and colored the balloons on a separate scrap of cardstock, and I used the Wendy Alpha to stamp the school letters on them. Then I cut out the balloons and adhered them over the corner of the image. I added a little more blue with an Earth Girl Button.

Grab Your Handbag -- It's Time to Shop!

Hi there! It's time to Hop and Shop with My Favorite Things! All of the new releases are available right HERE, right now! If you didn't start at Kim's Blog, you'll want to go back and catch up -- all of the new sets are are fantastic this month!

My project features Jolinne All Dressed Up. What girl doesn't love to get dressed up for a night out? I had some fun making this handbag-shaped card. I'm quite sure there are handbag templates already out there somewhere, but I just started folding and cutting until I came up with this one! ;) I used the Die-namics Jumbo Scallops die on the top flap and the new Jumbo Ric Rac die on the My Favorite Felt.

I used magnetic discs to hold the top flap closed. When the card is opened, you see Jolinne all dressed up! :) I colored the image with Copics, then I cut it out.

In the Garden with Jolinne

Hello! Happy Tuesday! Today the My Favorite Things DT is previewing three more sets: two new Jolinne sets and a fun Bath Time mini set. I used Jolinne In My Garden for my projects today.

I used some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper with this sweet Jolinne image. I colored the image with Copics. Of course, I had to add a couple rows of Die-namics Jumbo Scallops -- I can't stop using them! :)

I put together a little bucket filled with garden supplies, and I attached a coordinating tag.

Here's a closeup of the tag. I added some pleated paper to the bottom and punched a tab for the top.

MFTeasers, Day 4

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your week is off to a good start! I'm attending a training course all week (certification for the tutoring I do), and it's tough to be back in "school!" I may be a zombie by Friday! It's nice to take a break and share something stampy! :)

Today My Favorite Things is previewing three new sets! The one I chose to share with you is Jolinne - Heart on a String. I stamped her on watercolor paper and colored her using an Aquapainter and SU! inks. The paper is from the Lemonade 6x6 pad by BasicGrey. I stamped the balloon on one of the papers and popped it up outside the image oval.
