Sweet & Simple Baby Card

Hello! I hope you are having a good week so far! I wanted to share a card I made for my cousin's baby shower. Here's the story behind it. Her husband, when they were dating, starting calling her "Sweet Pea." So, that theme popped up a few times during her wedding shower. Her sister (and Matron of Honor) gave her a shirt that has "Sweet Pea" on it, and she was wearing it in the photo they took for their Christmas card last year. Now, she's pregnant with twins! I couldn't help myself -- I reached for my Green Thumb set from Papertrey Ink, knowing this image and sentiment were in it. I re-inked just the "s" after stamping the sentiment, so I could turn "sweet pea" into "sweet peas." Ahhh, the joy of clear stamps! :)

I wanted to keep the card sweet and simple and let the images be the focal point. I hope that's what I achieved! I plan to have a color challenge card posted later today, so stop back! Have a great day!

Stamps: Green Thumb (Papertrey Ink) Cardstock: Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, Old Olive (SU!) Paper: Perhaps (BasicGrey) Ink: Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Basic Black (SU!) Other: Photo Corners punch, Old Olive grosgrain, Ice Circles brads, stampin dimensionals, stamping sponges (all SU!), glitter glue (Sulyn Industries)

Absolutely gorgeous! If you ask me, I like the elegance of this card. I should have been born a princess since I like everything that is elegant.
