Color Challenge: Chocolate Bayou

I just *love* the colors for today's Color Challenge at Splitcoaststampers: Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou, and River Rock. They seemed perfect for an "earthy" card. There's a lot of distressing on this one! The leafy image and natural hemp add to the earthiness, too. Since there are so many elements on the card I wanted a subtle background, so I fingerwalked En Francais onto the Blue Bayou card base with Blue Bayou ink.

I think that's all I have for today -- I hope to have more to share tomorrow! :)

All supplies Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Stem Silhouettes, En Francais Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White Paper: Brocade Backgrounds, Apple Cider Ink: Blue Bayou, Chocolate Chip, River Rock Other: antique gold hardware, Cutter Kit, Blue Bayou stitched grosgrain, natural hemp twine, stamping sponge, stampin' dimensionals, Crafters Tool Kit, Chocolate Chip Marker Techniques: distressing, faux stitching, sponging
