MFT Sketch Challenge

Hello! I'm posting late on this Monday night -- it's the first time I've had a chance to stamp in days! It was a busy weekend with lots of family "stuff" to do! This morning I checked out Cindy's sketch challenge on the My Favorite Things forum at SCS, and I thought it was perfect for the Happy Mothers Day set. The sentiment in the oval is from Essential Sentiments. The image was stamped three times -- once on the Shimmery White panel, once on the polka dotted Real Red Prints paper, and once more on another scrap of Shimmery White.

I paper pieced in layers -- I cut the dress from the paper and adhered it to the base panel, then I colored and cut out the pot and flowers and adhered them with rolled up glue dots to give them some dimension.

I finished the inside of the card with the flower image and the sentiment from Happy Mothers Day. There's still plenty of room for writing a personal message!

I have some fun C.C. Designs previews coming your way starting Wednesday! The new sets will be released at All That Scraps May 4 at 12:01 AM!! I hope you'll stop back -- thanks so much for visiting today! :)

Beautiful card. How do you get the ribbon like that with the two different ones? It looks so neat.

A little popping up, a little ribbon, all these little details equal a big WOW! Great card! by the way, do you know if we can start posting with the new stamps? I 'm scared to load to the ATS gallery for fear it's to early. I only thought of this after I uploaded to my blog!
