Sunday Supper

Happy Sunday! I don't have any stamping to share with you today. Typically, I don't stamp much on Sundays -- it's usually a family day or a day to catch up on that "to do list" around the house. I've been thinking a lot lately about how crazy our schedule is, and I'm really going to try to make Sunday a "day of rest" from the normal routine.

I know that many of you are also juggling kids, careers, carpools, homework, sports, and that all-important stamping time. Time around the family dinner table is SO important, so we need some quick suppers to squeeze in between practices, games, and homework! With that in mind, I'm going to make my weekly Sunday post a time to share some quick and easy recipes. I'll call it "Sunday Supper."

Here's a recipe that I use often. It's about 10 minutes prep time and 30 minutes cook time. While it's in the oven, you can do a load of laundry or stamp a card!! :)

One Dish Chicken and Stuffing Bake (preheat oven to 400 degrees F)
4 cups herb-seasoned stuffing
6 boneless chicken breast halves
Paprika
1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup milk
1 Tbs fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried parsley

Prepare stuffing according to package directions. Spoon stuffing across center of 3-qt shallow baking dish. Place chicken on each side of stuffing. Sprinkle chicken with Paprika. Mix soup, milk and parsley. Pour over chicken. Cover. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes or until done.

Serve with salad and bread, and you have a meal! :)

Do you have any quick and easy family supper recipes? If so, I'd love for you to share them! If you email them to me, I'll share them here on Sunday, and I'll link to your blog or gallery if you give me that info, too! It'll be a cyber recipe exchange! :)

I'll be back tomorrow with my first MFTeaser -- I'm so excited, and I can't wait to share it with you! Thanks so much for stopping by today -- have a fantastic Sunday!

This looks like a great recipe and I'll be sure to try it. I'm always on the lookout for new recipes. I don't have a specific recipe to share right now (mostly because I don't want to take the time to type one in. lol) but I will say I use my slow cooker often. I bought two slow cooker books and they are lifesafers. You just throw everything in a pot, and when you come home from work you have a delicous meal waiting for you. Awesome!
