Remember the game "Rock, Paper, Scissors?" That was the theme of yesterday's Limited Supplies Challenge at SCS! Rock could be any stone, gem, or metal embellishment. Any kind of patterned Paper could be used. Scissors meant that only scissors or straight edge paper cutters could be used -- no punches, Nestabilities, or die cutting tools. I had a little fun with the theme when I used images from Eric and Chrissy Go Prehistoric -- the rocks were perfect for the challenge! :)
I used BasicGrey Archaic paper. I stamped the dinosaur on one of the "plain" sheets of paper and cut it out, then I added some shading with a Prismacolor Pencil. I stamped the rocks, masking on the left side. The rocks and palm tree were colored with Prismacolors and blended with Turpenoid. I cut out the palm tree and mounted it and the dinosaur on dimensionals. I sponged with Chocolate Chip and River Rock (more "rock" for the challenge!). I pierced around the image panel, and I added metallic elements with the screw brads and copper cord.
This was a fun challenge, and I'm really happy with the card! These new C.C. Designs stamps are so much fun to work with! :) Oh, if you didn't see yesterday's post, scroll down -- there's a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to All That Scraps! I'll be choosing the winner Tuesday morning!
I'll be back tomorrow with a Sunday Supper recipe for you! Thank you so much for stopping by today -- I always appreciate it! Have a fantastic Saturday! :)
