Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, everyone! Here are the treat bags I made for Caroline's preschool class. I used all SU! supplies, and they were pretty quick and easy to make! I kept them simple, since they ARE for four-year-olds, you know? :) I stapled the toppers in the middle and covered the staples with the scalloped circles.

I think they make a fun arrangement all together in this basket! These will go in the children's bags to take home today, so hopefully they can enjoy looking at them a little while before they tear them open! LOL

I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween night! Thanks so much for visiting today -- have a fantastic day and evening! :)

One Card, Two MFT Challenges!

Happy Thursday to you! One more day 'til Halloween -- and I still have much to do! I took a break from making my Halloween treats so I could play in a couple of MFT Challenges over at SCS. This card is for the MFT Sketch Challenge #54 and the What's Up Wednesday Challenge #3. The What's Up Wednesday Challenge is to use embossing and to use one of the Annie LaPoint stamps if possible. well, I LOVE the Annie LaPoint images, so I was happy to play along! My embossing is dry embossing using my Cuttlebug and Birds and Swirls folder.

Here's a closeup of the coloring. I stamped in SU! Basic Brown and colored with Copics. I added a very subtle shadow around the image with Warm Gray No. 1. It gives the image just a little more dimension. I sponged around the edge of the image panel with More Mustard ink.

Here are the Copic Ciao markers I used ...

That's it for me today! I have to finish Caroline's class treats -- I'll share them with you tomorrow! Thanks so much for stopping by -- have a great day! :)

Stamps: Rosemary by Annie LaPoint (MFT Presents) Ink: Basic Brown, More Mustard (SU!) Cardstock: Really Rust, Sage Shadow, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Autumn Vine dsp (SU!) Other: Ciao markers (Copic); Cuttlebug, Birds and Swirls embossing folder (Provo Craft); Circle Cutter (Fiskars); Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon, More Mustard brads, stamping sponge, stampin' dimensionals (SU!)

ATS Challenge: Mini Pizza Box

Happy Wednesday! Today's ATS Challenge is to make a Mini Pizza Box. This was a Technique Challenge at SCS a few weeks ago, and I didn't get a chance to do it then, so I'm glad Jen chose it for our challenge this week! The instructions from Jen del Muro can be found on the SCS Challenge thread HERE.

I kept this simple but fun. I let this great Hallowhimsy paper do most of the work for me! I just added a tag made with images from Spooky Spooky Spooky by C.C. Designs.

The greeting is on the inside of the box. I used an image and sentiment from Sugarplum Halloween. I filled the box with chocolate squares -- it's a Halloween treat for Caroline's preschool teacher! :)

Play along with us! Use keyword ATSDTC24 when uploading to a gallery. All the challenge projects can be found in the Wednesday Challenge Gallery at All That Scraps. Check out the ATS Blog later today to see more challenge projects from the Design Team!

Thank you so much for visiting today -- I always appreciate it!! Have a wonderful Wednesday! :)

Stamps: Spooky Spooky Spooky, Sugarplum Halloween (C.C. Designs) Ink: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss (SU!) Cardstock: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss (SU!) Paper: Hallowhimsy (Imaginisce) Other: Kiwi Kiss striped grosgrain, black hemp twine, 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch, paper piercer, mat pack (SU!); googly eyes

Definitely a Color Challenge!

Has anyone seen my mojo??? I can't seem to find it anywhere! I don't know if it's the change in the weather or just a creative block, but I'm having a hard time getting my creative juices flowing! I thought I'd check out the SCS Color Challenge in hopes of jump starting things, but that didn't exactly happen! These colors are so not "me" -- but I was determined to make it work!!!

I used Pumpkin Pie instead of Tangerine Tango, and that let me use some of my Sweet Always paper. I used my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder on the background. I cut out the flowers, folded up the edges a little, and inserted Old Olive brads through the middle. I inked up the sentiment in Kiwi Kiss, then I wiped off the small flower and the dots. Then I used my Pumpkin Pie and Pixie Pink markers on those parts before stamping.

I'm still not sure about it, but I am glad I accepted the challenge! Tomorrow is the ATS Wednesday Challenge, so I'll have more to share with you then! Thanks so much for stopping by today -- have a fantastic day! :)

All supplies Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.

Another AmyR Preview... and Sunday Supper!

Hello! Happy Sunday to you! Before I share the Sunday Supper recipe, I have another preview with AmyR's new sets -- they'll be released tomorrow (Monday) at All That Scraps! I used all three of her sets on this card. I made the tree with shapes from Build a Holiday, and "Joy" is from Christmas Sentiments. The inside verse is from Christmas Card Verses. Both of the sentiment sets are must-haves -- they say everything I want to say on my Christmas cards!

I made the tree on the front by stamping all three triangle shapes from Build a Holiday on Figgy paper then cutting them out and stacking them. The trunk is made with the small rectangle from the set. I did some piercing and sponging, and I added ribbon, snowflakes and rhinestones.

Here's the inside of the card, with a verse from Christmas Card Verses.

Be sure to go to the ATS Blog to see more previews and to find out how you can win the sets! :)

Now, for the Sunday Supper recipe...

Pork Chop Casserole

4 to 6 pork chops

2 c. milk
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Brown pork chops. Mix remaining ingredients in baking dish. Top with pork chops. Cover. Bake 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours at 325 degrees F.

That's all for me today! Thanks so much for visiting! Enjoy your Sunday! :)

In the meadow we can build a snowman...

Hello, everyone! I'm so glad to be sharing something with you again! On Monday, October 27, AmyR Stamps is releasing three new sets -- and here's a preview! This card was created with Build a Holiday, and the sentiment is from Christmas Sentiments. I have to tell you, Build a Holiday is such a great set! There are shapes and images for creating snowmen, ornaments, Christmas trees, packages, lights -- wherever your imagination takes you! The images are great for coloring or paper piecing, and here I did a lot of paper piecing! :)

I feel like I actually built a snowman! I stamped all the images onto patterned paper (BasicGrey Figgy), and I put them all together. The face, buttons, and twig arms were stamped onto the paper also. I colored his nose with a Copic marker. I mounted the hat and scarf on dimensionals, and I added some Stickles for a little snowy sparkle.

This set is so much fun! If you stop by the ATS Blog, you'll see more fantastic samples and find out how you can win the set! We'll have more to show you all weekend, so be sure to visit my ATS Design Teammates (on my sidebar) to see what they've done with Amy's sets!

Well, I'm off for a day at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, KY. It's the 10th Anniversary of my husband's company, and we're celebrating with everyone from his office! We're heading down on a bus and staying all day! I think I might be a little tired tomorrow morning... ;)

Have a great day, everyone -- thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm still here...

Hi, everyone! Sorry I haven't had anything to share the last two days! My friend Traci has a hairbow business, so a few times a year I do some sewing and embroidering for her. She has an open house tonight, so I had to put the stamping on the backburner for a few days! Geez, I hate when that happens! ;)

I'll be back tomorrow with a preview of new AmyR Stamps -- you are going to love them! They'll be must-haves for your Christmas cards and projects! Thanks so much for checking in with me -- have a great day!! :)

Thinking Pink!

Happy Monday, everyone! I've been having technical difficulties with my computer all morning, so I'm going to try to get this posted quickly! I made this card for Celebrate MFT Day, which occurs on the 20th of each month at SCS. Today we are to use the MFT colors -- pink, black, and white. It just made sense to use Think Pink as my set!

There's not much to explain here -- I paper pieced the girl on the left and colored the other one with Copics. I'll list all the supplies -- just give me a shout if you have any questions!

That's it for today! Have a great day -- thanks so much for stopping by to visit! :)

Stamps: Think Pink (MFT) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Basic Black (SU!) Cardstock: Regal Rose, Basic Black Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Sweet Always dsp (SU!) Sunday Supper: Shepherd's Pie

Hello, everyone! Happy Sunday to you! Today's Sunday Supper recipe comes from Cheryl Salmon. You can find her at her blog, Ink & Paper. I was happy to find this in my email inbox this morning -- thanks so much, Cheryl! :)

Shepherd's Pie
1 cup of cooked ground beef
2 cups mixed frozen veggies
1 can mushroom soup
2 Tbs ketchup
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp beef oxo
a pinch of pepper

Mix all of this together in a bowl then spread into a casserole dish. You can also adjust amounts to suit your needs and tastes, this is just a rough guide.

2 cups of Mashed potatoes for the topping. You can use instant mashed potatoes as well, they taste pretty good. Sprinkle with paprika or I like to top with grated cheese. Top with casserole lid or cover with tin foil.

Bake in a 350 oven for about 45 minutes then remove lid to brown it up a little. Remove when nice and bubbly.

Sounds yummy! I can't wait to try it! Thanks again for sending it, Cheryl! If anyone has a recipe to share, please email it to me! I'm always looking for more quick and easy supper recipes! :) Have a great Sunday, everyone -- spend some family time around the supper table!

Believe in the Magic!

Happy Saturday! Here's the card I made for yesterday's Limited Supplies Challenge at SCS, Single Blue Eye. The challenge was to use a single sheet of designer paper, blue somewhere on the card, and only eyelets and one ribbon as embellishments. You can click on the photo for a better view.

The image and sentiment are from the cling set Winter Wonderland by American Art Stamp. I am in love with Karen Stolper's leggy people! I recently purchased a few sets, so you'll be seeing more of them! :) I colored with a blender pen and SU! inks, and I sponged around the image and sentiment. The paper is BasicGrey Figgy. I distressed the edges of the paper and cardstock with my SU! Cutter Kit. I finished the inside of the card as well.

I have another busy Saturday ahead -- a soccer game and cross country meet this morning, and tonight we're co-hosting a gift gathering party for an upcoming fundraiser. Tomorrow I'll be back with my Sunday Supper recipe! Have a great day, everyone -- thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamps: Winter Wonderland (AAS) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko); Soft Sky, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Close to Cocoa (SU!) Cardstock: Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Figgy 6x6 pad (BasicGrey) Other: Cutter Kit, Soft Sky stitched grosgrain, white eyelets, blender pen, sponge, dimensionals

Christmas Shopping Organizer

Hello! Happy Friday!! Today the ATS Design Team has another "Review Preview" of newly released stamps -- this time it's Sugarplums Christmas. I made a Christmas Shopping Organizer, and here's the step-by-step. Click on any photo for a better view!

Start with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock. Score down the middle at 4 1/4", then turn and score again at 3". Turn the cardstock back upright and remove the bottom left panel.

Round the corners (if desired) and add Sticky Strip or other strong adhesive to the sides of the bottom right panel.

Apply designer paper to the inside, then fold up the pocket and adhere.

Now finish the inside! I printed out the Gift List and "Receipts" on the computer. The gifts are from the Sugarplums Christmas Scenery Set. I colored them with Copics and cut them out. I placed an eyelet on the front and back panels to hold the ribbon in place when opened.

Here's the front of the organizer. The tree is also from the Scenery Set, and the sentiment is from Boutique Sentiments by AmyR Stamps. I again colored with Copics, and I added Stickles to the tree ornaments. The brads serve two purposes: they embellish the front and also hold the gift list pages in place on the inside! It will be easy to remove the pages and insert new ones next year!

I hope this gives you some good ideas! Certainly you could do this with any stamps, but these images are perfect, don't you think?!? ;)

Go to my sidebar and see what my Design Teammates are up to -- one of them has a $5 gift certificate to All That Scraps to give away! :) Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope you have a great weekend planned! Have a fantastic day! :)

Stamps: Sugarplums Christmas Scenery Set (C.C. Designs), Boutique Sentiments (AmyR Stamps) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Baja Breeze (SU!) Cardstock: Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Ski Slope (SU!) Other: Copic markers, Xmas Red Stickles (Ranger), eyelets, red satin ribbon (May Arts), Vintage Brads, oval punches, scalloped edge punch (SU!)

Going Places

Happy Thursday, everyone! Here's a card I made for yesterday's Sketch Challenge at SCS. It's also for the MFT "Who's That Girl Monday Challenge" on the MFT Forum at SCS. The challenge is to use the set Going Places and also to use eyelets on your project.

This was a fun sketch to work with! I used my Fiskars Circle Cutter to make all the circles. I Cuttlebugged the background panel and the red semicircle. The patterned paper is Travel by American Crafts. It just seemed perfect for the card! The plane is colored with Copics, and I sponged Baja Breeze ink around the image circle.

To make the banner, I stamped it, colored it with a Copic marker, and cut it out. Then I bent and curved it in a couple places, and I adhered it only on the right side. It looks like it's really flying off the card!

I knew I wanted to use these star eyelets from CTMH, and they were a great way to make a starry sky! All I needed was a little black satin ribbon to finish the card.

That's it for me today! I'm so glad you stopped by to visit! I hope you have a fantastic day! :)

Stamps: Going Places (MFT) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Baja Breeze (SU!) Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Travel (American Crafts) Other: Cuttlebug, Spots & Dots embossing folder, Swiss Dots embossing folder (Provo Craft); Circle Cutter (Fiskars); Ciao markers (Copic); black satin ribbon (May Arts); star eyelets (CTMH); sponge; dimensionals

ATS Wednesday Challenge: Ribbon Inspiration

Hello, there! Happy Wednesday to you! Today's ATS Wednesday Challenge is to use ribbon as the inspiration for your project.

I've been dying to use my new SU! Alpine Original Ribbon, so I built this card around it! The brown felt ribbon and the striped ribbon are just so warm and cozy! I added some more texture with the Felt Flurry snowflakes, piercing, and Cuttlebug embossing.

The images are from Wintertime Fun by C.C. Designs. I colored Lulu and her snowfriend with Copics, and I added Stickles to Lulu's coat trim and the snow.

I love this card -- I really do! It just screams wintertime! :)

If you'd like to play along with this challenge, use keyword ATSDTC22 when uploading. Your challenge projects can be posted to the Wednesday Challenge Gallery HERE. All the Wednesday Challenges are listed HERE -- play along at any time! :)

Inspired by Amy W!

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I made today's card for the "Celebrate Amy W Challenge" on the Verve Stamps forum at SCS. You can read more about it HERE. The challenge is to create a card in the style of Amy Westerman -- bright and happy! I don't often use bright colors, but I DO love my BasicGrey Romani paper, so I decided to play! :)

The images in the Floral Whimsy set are a perfect complement to the patterns in the Romani paper. I paper pieced the vase using the small prints found on the cover sheet of the paper pack. It's a trick I picked up from Michele Boyer -- who, by the way, is a genius! :) I embossed the background with my Cuttlebug and Spots & Dots embossing folder. I did some piercing on the sentiment panel and highlighted "joy" with a Copic marker. It's a fun card, definitely bright and happy! :)

That's it for today! I'm off to tutor and then to do a little housework! Enjoy your day -- thanks so much for visiting! :)

Stamps: Floral Whimsy (Verve Stamps) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko); Pretty in Pink, Green Galore, Almost Amethyst, Riding Hood Red (SU!) Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Almost Amethyst, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Romani (BasicGrey) Other: scallop edge punch, corner rounder, paper piercer and mat pack, stampin' dimensionals (SU!); Peony Dew Drops (Robin's Nest); green dotted organdy ribbon (May Arts); Cuttlebug, Spots & Dots embossing folder (Provo Craft), Copic marker

Sunday Supper: Taco Soup

Hello, everyone! Happy Sunday to you! Today's Sunday Supper recipe comes from my SU! Upline, Robin Bisig. I was getting ready to do my post this morning and decided to check my email first, and there was a recipe from Robin! Thanks, Robin -- it was a nice surprise! :)

This would be a great soup to make for game day, tailgating, or on a cool, autumn day! We may never have those around here -- we're expecting near-record highs in the 80's today! It is beautiful, though -- a cloudless blue sky and gorgous foliage everywhere!

Okay, on to the recipe!

Taco Soup
16 oz. chili beans
16 oz. kidney beans
16 oz. black beans
8 oz. tomato sauce
15 oz. diced tomatoes
16 oz. whole kernel corn
16 oz. creamed corn
1 package of taco seasoning
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 small can chopped green chilies

DO NOT DRAIN ANY OF THE CANNED FOODS. Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Combine all ingredients in a crock pot. Simmer 3-4 hours. Garnish with shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips, etc.

Sounds yummy!! My husband and son will LOVE this for sure! Thanks again, Robin!

Be sure to scroll down to see Friday's post if you haven't already -- there's a chance to win a $5 gift certificate from All That Scraps! I'll be choosing the winner Tuesday morning! Thanks to all of you for visiting today and every day -- I'm always so thankful when you stop by! Have a great Sunday, and spend some time around the dinner table! :)

Rock, Paper, Scissors...

Remember the game "Rock, Paper, Scissors?" That was the theme of yesterday's Limited Supplies Challenge at SCS! Rock could be any stone, gem, or metal embellishment. Any kind of patterned Paper could be used. Scissors meant that only scissors or straight edge paper cutters could be used -- no punches, Nestabilities, or die cutting tools. I had a little fun with the theme when I used images from Eric and Chrissy Go Prehistoric -- the rocks were perfect for the challenge! :)

I used BasicGrey Archaic paper. I stamped the dinosaur on one of the "plain" sheets of paper and cut it out, then I added some shading with a Prismacolor Pencil. I stamped the rocks, masking on the left side. The rocks and palm tree were colored with Prismacolors and blended with Turpenoid. I cut out the palm tree and mounted it and the dinosaur on dimensionals. I sponged with Chocolate Chip and River Rock (more "rock" for the challenge!). I pierced around the image panel, and I added metallic elements with the screw brads and copper cord.

This was a fun challenge, and I'm really happy with the card! These new C.C. Designs stamps are so much fun to work with! :) Oh, if you didn't see yesterday's post, scroll down -- there's a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to All That Scraps! I'll be choosing the winner Tuesday morning!

I'll be back tomorrow with a Sunday Supper recipe for you! Thank you so much for stopping by today -- I always appreciate it! Have a fantastic Saturday! :)

Stamps: Eric and Chrissy Go Prehistoric (C.C. Designs) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko); Chocolate Chip, River Rock (SU!) Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Really Rust, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Archaic 6x6 pad (BasicGrey) Other: Prismacolor Pencils, Turpenoid; blending stumps; mini screw brads (Karen Foster); paper piercing tool and mat pack, copper cord, dimensionals, sponge (SU!)

The paper is Autumn Vine from SU!, available in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I absolutely *love* it! I colored Sadie with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS, and I sponged around the image and sentiment. I found this gorgeous leaf ribbon at my LSS a couple weeks ago, and it was perfect for this card!

A Halloween Treat Container

Happy Wednesday! It's time for another ATS Wednesday Challenge. Today's challenge is to make halloween treats.

I decided to make a little pouch to hold some m&ms. I started with a 11" x 4.25" piece of SU! Kiwi Kiss Cardstock. I scored it at 5" and 6", then I scored 1" from the end to make the flap. I stamped the eyes on the flap and cut a window with my Circle Nestabilities. I then embossed the front panel with my Cuttlebug and D'vine Swirls embossing folder. I sponged Basic Black ink on the embossing and around the edges. I colored the images from Spooky Spooky Spooky with Copics, cut them out, and mounted them on dimensionals. Then I added some googly eyes to the spider!

I used a medium flat cello bag from SU! to hold the m&ms. I cut a little bit off the top, filled it, then I folded it over and stapled it closed. I used double-stick tape to attach the bag to the inside of the front panel of the pouch. I punched two holes in the flap and tied some black hemp twine to the top.

This would be a perfect size treat for the kids to take to school for their classmates! It would even be a fun surprise for the mail carrier or bus driver! :)

If you want to play along, use keyword ATSDTC21 when uploading to a gallery. All the Wednesday Challenge projects can be found in the ATS Gallery HERE. All the Challenges are listed in the ATS forum HERE -- play along with any one at any time! :)

That's all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fantastic day! :)

An (almost) SU! Only Card!

Hi there! Happy Tuesday to you! I took a little break from the C.C. Designs previews to play in today's SCS Color Challenge. The colors are Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss -- what a gorgeous autumn combination! I thought that Fresh Cuts would be a perfect set to use, and my card quickly became a Stampin' Up! card. The only deviations are the machine stitching and Dew Drops.

I stamped the background image at an angle, then I created a tag to be the focal point. I stamped the leafy image in Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss, stamping off first. Then I stamped the image in Chocolate Chip Craft ink and heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. I sponged around the image and sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink, and I also sponged the edges of the background cardstock.

Here's a closeup of the embossed image. I just love the look of the Iridescent Ice over the Chocolate Chip -- this is definitely my favorite embossing combination!

Don't forget that the October C.C. Designs sets are being released tonight! Join us at the ATS Message Board for a release party from 8-10 pm. The new sets will all be available at 10:00 pm!

Tomorrow I'll be back with my project for the ATS Wednesday Challenge! Thanks for the visit -- have a fantastic day! :)

Wanna Go Clubbin'?

Hello! Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a great weekend. I have one final October set to preview for you before the release tomorrow. It's a C.C. Designs set called Eric and Chrissy Go Prehistoric, and I love it!! Christine is so great about getting input from the Design Team about new sets. She began designing a prehistoric set, and she asked us for suggestions for sentiments. I asked my husband if he could think of anything. His reply was, "How about 'Wanna go clubbin'?'" I laughed and passed on that suggestion to Christine. When she revealed the set to us, that sentiment was in it!! Of course, I HAD to use it for my sample! :)

This set is SO perfect paired with BasicGrey Archaic paper. I added some primitive elements with natural hemp twine and distressing. I stitched around the patterned paper for more texture, and I added a trio of Dew Drops. Prehistoric Eric is colored with Copics, and I sponged around the image panel and sentiment. I took a little creative license with his clothing -- I realize that animal prints aren't green, but I had to coordinate with the paper! ;)

Go to the ATS Blog to see more samples of this set and all the October sets, and find out how you can WIN them! Join us tomorrow night at the ATS Message Board from 8-10 pm EST for a little party before the release! All the October sets will be available at 10 pm tomorrow (Tuesday) night!

That's all I have for today -- thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Stamps: Eric and Chrissy Go Prehistoric (C.C. Designs) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), True Thyme (SU! retired) Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Archaic 6x6 pad (BasicGrey) Other: Ciao markers (Copic), natural hemp twine, Cutter Kit (SU!), Dew Drops (Robins Nest), sewing machine

More October Previews!

Hi there! Sorry about not posting previews yesterday! Kyle's tournament took up most of the day. His team was eliminated last night, but they fought hard! Chris has been gone all weekend also, so that made things just a little more complicated! Anyway, I'm so glad to finally be showing you these next previews! The first is from another new illustrator, my Design Teammate Jennifer Ofiana! Her Stampin' Spot Studio line is being manufactured by C.C. Designs!

Meet Sadie! Jen designed three adorable Sadie images, for birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I worked with the Birthday Sadie to create this card. The paper is BasicGrey Cupcake. I colored with Copics and cut the balloons "out of the box." The cardstock, ribbon and brads are from SU!.

For this next card I used two new C.C. Designs releases, Pajama Christopher and Sugarplums Christmas Scenery Set. The sentiment is from Lucky's Christmas Wish. I used BasicGrey Figgy paper. I embossed the background paper with my Cuttlebug and Snowflakes embossing folder. The cardstock and brads are from SU!. I paper pieced his pajamas and colored the rest with Copics. I again cut part of the image "out of the box."I sponged around the image panel and sentiment.

Be sure to stop by the ATS Blog for more previews of the new sets, and you can also find out how you can WIN them! :) Because of the previews, I don't have a Sunday Supper recipe for you today, but I'll be back next week with another one! I have one final set to preview for you tomorrow, then the release will be on Tuesday at 10:00 pm EST!! Thanks so much for visiting today -- have a fantastic Sunday! :)

Another New Illustrator!!

Hi, everyone! My post is going to be a little delayed -- my son is in the middle of his regional soccer tournament, and I'm sneaking in this short post between games! I'll have more C.C. Designs previews for you later on, but for now go to the All That Scraps Blog to see new stamps from another new illustrator, our own Jennifer Ofiana! Her Stampin' Spot Studio stamps are just adorable! :)

I'll be back later with my samples -- have a great day! :)

C.C. Designs October Sets!

Hello! Happy Friday to you! Today we're beginning previews of the October C.C. Designs releases! I'm so excited to share these with you! This month, two more members of our Design Team have their own lines of stamps being released! Today I'm showing you a set and background from Cookie Crumbs by Diane Zechman (cookiestamper).

Meet Annabelle -- she's just too much fun! This set includes two cow images, several accessories, and lots of cow-themed sentiments! The cow spots are a separate background stamp! I just got these kraft bags with windows, and I thought it would be fun to make a cow-spotted candy bag.

I stamped the background on the front and back of the bag in Basic Black ink. I colored Annabelle with Copics, and I sponged around the image and sentiment with SU! Creamy Caramel ink. I tied black satin ribbon around the top, then I tied the tag to the ribbon with some natural hemp twine.

Wanna see more samples with Diane's new set? Go to the ATS Blog to see what the DT has come up with! Also, be sure to stop by Diane's blog to see her samples and to congratulate her! :)

All the new releases will be available at 10:00 pm EST on Tuesday, October 7! I'll have more previews all weekend long -- please stop back to see them! Have a fantastic fall day today -- thanks so much for the visit! :)

Stamps: Annabelle (Cookie Crumbs) Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Basic Black, Creamy Caramel (SU!) Cardstock: Basic Black, Cameo Coral, Whisper White (SU!) Other: Ciao markers (Copic); tag punches, natural hemp twine, stamping sponge (SU!); black satin ribbon (May Arts)

You Little Devil!

Happy Wednesday! Today's ATS Challenge is a sketch by Amy Rysavy. It's a fun one, perfect for designer papers!

You probably know by now that I'm a HUGE fan of BasicGrey papers. I just love the colors and patterns in each collection! I used my new Ambrosia 6x6 pad for this card, because the colors seemed perfect for this Devil Christopher image from Sugarplums Halloween. I colored Christopher with Copics and sponged the edges of the image panel with SU! Basic Gray ink. I colored and cut out the pitchfork and attached it over his hand with rolled glue dots. The three black brads are inserted through 1/2" circles punched from the patterned paper. I thought about embellishing a little bit more, but I really wanted to keep the card masculine. Plus, I didn't want anything to compete with the patterns in the paper.

Would you like to make a card for the challenge? Use keyword ATSDTC20 when uploading to a gallery. You can see all the Wednesday Challenge cards in the ATS Gallery HERE, and all the Wednesday Challenges are posted HERE. Do any one at any time! :)

I'm glad you stopped to visit today -- I always appreciate it!! Have a fantastic day! :)
