Some Peppermint Tea

Good morning! Happy Sunday! I hope you have something great planned for today!

Kyle and Chris were gone all day yesterday -- Kyle's lacrosse team was playing in the Bluegrass Games -- and the girls were playing with friends, so I spent the entire day cleaning and purging down in my stamp area! When I was finally finished, I happily got a little stamping time around 9 pm! Here's a little more Christmas in July for you, this time with stamps from My Favorite Things. I've been dying to ink up my new Annie LaPoint Peppermint stamp, and the image is perfect with my beloved Figgy paper!

This card is 4.25" x 3.75". I started with a 10" x 3.75" piece of Soft Sky cardstock. I scored it at 4.25" and 8.5" -- that left a 1.5" flap to fold up for the pocket. I used eyelets to secure the pocket closed. The inside sentiment is from Baby It's Cold Outside. On the front, I Cuttlebugged just the front with the Snowflakes embossing folder. I colored the image with Copics and rounded just two corners of the image panel and Real Red mat. I sponged the image panel and added some May Arts red satin ribbon.

This would be a great little card to place in a gift basket, give to a teacher, or mail to a friend just because!

Guess what?!?!? In all my cleaning yesterday, I found lots of extra goodies lying around. It just so happens that my First Blogaversary is coming up this week -- that means a giveaway!!! Stay tuned for more... :)

Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by today! :)

Lovely, I like how you have one corner on the pot's mat that is not rounded! I'll have to remember to try that sometime!
