July MFT Release Hop & Shop!

Hi, there! It's time to Hop & Shop with My Favorite Things! Isn't this month's release fantastic? There will be lots of inspiration along the Hop tonight, so be sure to start at Kim's Blog so you don't miss a thing! :)

My card features the set, Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy, which is this month's Triple Scoop set. Our Triple Scoop reward is a full-sized stamp set offered to you absolutely free with a qualifying purchase of $60 or greater (before shipping and tax). Be sure to click HERE to find out how you can earn the Triple Scoop set or the Cherry on Top! :)

Sympathy cards are difficult to make, but these sentiments are just perfect. I chose a soft, monochromatic (but not sad) color palette, and I accented with dark brown (not black). The papers are from the Stella & Rose - Hazel pack by My Mind's Eye. I cut some Chocolate Fudge My Favorite Felt with the larger die in the new Die-namics Dizzy Doily Duo. I used the large die from the new Die-namics You Move Me set as the sentiment panel. I layered with the new Die-namics Solid Bracket Border and embellished with Die-namics Butterflies.

I finished the inside with another Solid Bracket Border, a small Butterfly, and another sentiment from the set.

You can find all the Brand Spankin' New Products right HERE, right now! Also, be sure to leave a comment for each designer along the Hop, because there is some Blog Candy hidden somewhere along the way!

Now I'll send you to see what the amazingly talented Lisa Henke has created! I'll see you there! :)

Thanks for hopping by!
Christina

Your sympathy card is so pertty!Hate to think I'll need them very often, but these sentiments are so very thoughtful and will make future cards much easier when I need to come up with those difficult-to-find words...

This card is so pretty, and I never would have thought to use these papers and a piece from such a cheery, punny set for a sympathy card, but you pulled it off!
