It's Teaser Time!

Hi there! I am SO excited about today's post, because it's the first day of Teasers for the My Favorite Things March release! I am thrilled and honored to be guest designing with the MFT Creative Team this month! So let's get started, okay?!

Today's Teasers feature the newest set from Lisa Johnson Designs, Pretty Poppies. I also used the coordinating Die-namics set, Poppies and Leaves.

I stamped the poppies in Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink, and I stamped the stems and leaves in Jellybean Green Premium Dye Ink. I cut the poppies and leaves with the Die-namics -- let me show you how easy it is to do!

Use the Die-namics to create stencils for each image.

 Lay the stamped image face up on the bottom cutting plate, then place the stencil over the stamped image.

Place the Die-namics die cutting side down into the opening (when you move it around you will feel it settle into the opening). Then carefully place the top cutting plate over everything and run it through! You can tape the layers together to keep them from shifting, but I usually just take my chances. ;)

Remove the top plate, die and stencil, and your image is cut!

I stamped the text and sentiment in Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I *love* this font -- so fun! :)
