Happy Monday! I hope it was a great weekend! We had some gorgeous, cool, fall-like days here! We were busy with Megan's Volleyfest tournament, Kyle's Freshman Regional Soccer Tournament, and a fundraiser at school. It was a good weekend, but I have nowhere I have to go today -- I guess it's a good day to stamp! :)
Here's a card I made last night, after the kids (and Chris) had gone to bed. It's for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #19. I love to check out her challenges -- she's truly one of my stamping heroes! :) For this card, I inked up an image and sentiment from Stem Silhouettes. I used Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White cardstock, and the background paper is BasicGrey Infuse. I used Sanded on the sentiment panel, stamped with Sahara Sand ink. The sentiment and flower image are stamped with Chocolate Chip ink. I did the cracked glass technique over the focal image, after I sponged the edges of the panel with Regal Rose ink. To give the card a more aged look, I sponged Ranger Walnut Distress Ink around the other panels and over the cracked glass. I added some faux stitching in the corner, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, and a Jumbo Blossom and antique copper brad (both from Making Memories). The image panel and blossom are on Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by to visit -- I hope to have more to share later! :)
