Happy Tuesday! Today I'm back with a preview of the second à la modes set being released tonight, Grad Girl. My son graduates next month, and I know I'll be using this set to make cards for many of his friends. I really love the way this card turned out -- the mix of papers from October Afternoon's Schoolhouse collection is grown-up and playful at the same time (kinda like a high school senior). :)
I colored the image with Copics, and I sponged the edges of the papers with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I used two Die-namics: Pretty Posies and Notebook Edge. I embellished with a button, Honeydew Twine, and a pearl flourish.
Head over to Kim's Blog to see which designers have inked up this sweet Grad Girl! Then be sure to stop back tonight at 10:00 pm EST for the May VIP Hop! :)
That's all for now! See you later!
Have a great day!
