Hello, everyone! I hope you're enjoying the long holiday weekend! Today's Sunday Supper recipe is a one-dish recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to prepare -- I just love that!
Chicken and Rice Bake
1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken/cream of broccoli soup
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. uncooked long-grain rice
1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1 can (2.8 oz) French fried onions
4 chicken breast halves
paprika
black pepper
In 3-qt oblong baking dish, combine soup, water, rice, mushrooms and 1/2 can onions. Arrange chicken on rice mixture; sprinkle with paprika and pepper. Bake at 375 degrees F one hour or until chicken is no longer pink. Top with remaining onions; bake 3 minutes or until onions are golden brown. Serves 4.
Thanks for stopping by today -- enjoy some time around the supper table! :)
ETA: Thanks, Nancy Riley -- you caught my goof! I didn't list the water in the ingredients -- it's fixed now! :)
